- Positive affirmations interrupt the negative thought patterns that are holding you back. Most people have all kinds of negative thoughts every day about themselves and their lives – and those negative thoughts have an impact on you. By flipping those negative thoughts into positive ones, you can see big changes in your life.
- Reduce anxiety symptoms. People who over-worry or have an anxiety disorder can see a lot of benefits from positive affirmations because they can replace worries with positive ideas and thoughts.
- Increase your self-esteem. The more you think about something, the more you are likely to believe it. People with low self-esteem tend to think that they are not good enough for whatever reason. By replacing those feelings with thoughts of “I am enough” or “I am strong”, etc, you will start to focus more on your good qualities, and thus feel more confident.
